We are buying used equipment and taking trade-ins with a modified process to account for the safety of our staff and customers during this time.

We are asking everyone to first send an email to info@powellcamera.com with a list of the products you are wanting to sell or trade in. Please use the condition scale below to rate each piece of gear and also state if you are looking to sell or trade. Someone from our used department will get back to you with what they are interested in and an approximate quote for each of the pieces, actual pricing will not be given until we have received and inspected the equipment.

If after receiving a reply, you would like to complete the sale of your gear we have two options. Both options require that you fill out the Used Buy/Trade-In Form at the bottom of this page and include it with your gear. We will also need a photocopy of your valid driver’s license or passport emailed to info@powellcamera.com.

Pack up the gear carefully and ship it to us at:

You can drop it off curbside with us Monday - Friday, 10-4pm

We ask that you again pack it carefully and seal it inside of a bag or box. Give us a call when you are out front and we will come outside to pick up your used gear from you.

Due to Covid-19, there will be a 2-4 day waiting period once we have received the equipment and before we respond.

Please use the gear condition scale below to rate the condition of your equipment on your initial email and on the USED Buy/Trade-In Form:

MINT - 97-99% of original condition

EXCELLENT - 90-96% of original condition

VERY GOOD - 80-89% of original condition

GOOD - 70-79% of original condition

FAIR - Very rough looking

INOPERABLE - Sold as is
